You’re looking high and low to fill a hole in your heart. 

You need only look one place.  

Jesus Christ. 

Anything found outside of Him will be a fraud; a counterfeit solution that feels helpful and satisfying. One that’s temporary and leaves you thirsty. 

Do you need a reason to keep living? You’re straining toward goals that make this life feel less empty. 

Jesus Christ is our Hope. (1 Peter 1:3.)

Do you feel weak and incapable? You’re striving for ways to feel more control over your situation.

Jesus Christ is your strength. (Psalm 59:9.)

Do you need transformation? You’re trying to recreate yourself with discipline and structure. 

Jesus Christ has redeemed you and called you His own. (Isaiah 43:1.)

Do you need grace? You’re trying to make up for who you used to be. You’re working hard to be good enough. 

Jesus Christ and nothing more is our salvation. (Ephesians 2:8.) 

Do you need purpose? You’re pouring yourself into noble endeavors and ministry to check it off the list. 

Jesus Christ is your purpose and the One who works it out in you. (Philippians 1:6, Philippians 2:13.)

Do you need security? You’re trying to improve yourself, so you feel secure and confident. 

Jesus Christ makes your way secure. (Psalm 18:32.)

Do you need direction? You’re talking about your problem until you’re blue in the face. 

Jesus Christ is your guide. (Ps. 48:14.)

Do you need Peace? You’re certain if this problem will go away, you’ll feel settled. 

He is your Peace. (Philippians 4:7.)

What is your heart needing today? 

The Lord Jesus waits for you.
